The Real Transformer

Heart is the source of our action, the source of our motivation. We might have plans in our brain, but then when our heart changes, the plans will also change. That’s how powerful our heart is.

However, a single sentence, or even a single phrase, that comes from an important person in our life can either make us fly to the highest sky or jump to the deepest cliff. That’s how fragile our heart is.

Thank God, His power and love goes far beyond the power and fragility of our heart. Our heart is so unreliable, we need something reliable to secure it. The perfect security comes from God, which we will receive when we accept Him as God in our heart. He will provide us the real peace that keeps us from being anxious despite our circumstances. That’s why I really love these verses:

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Peace of God is beyond any logic, it enables us to live without worrying about anything, by praying about everything.

God will also transform our fragile heart and enable us to change our bad habit and stop us from doing any more sins. The process might take a while, but as long as we keep God in the first place, keep having close relationship with Him, He will gradually renew us to be a better person every day.

Let’s embrace the peaceful and abundant life that He has provided for us.
Merry Christmas :)

Overflowing Love

Relationship with God is unlike any other relationship that we will ever encounter in this world. Why? Because God is love and there isn’t any single creature that can love like how God loves.

In relationship with other people, such as with our friends, family, parents, there will always be friction, imperfection, disappointment, because all of us are not perfect and we cannot love perfectly.

However, when we accept Him as God in our heart, He will enable us to love like how He loves. We cannot truly love other people using our own strength.

When we feel like we cannot love, cannot forgive, let’s ask Jesus to enable us to love and forgive like He does. He will empower us. Amen :)
